Atelier d’Amis - French for “Workshop of Friends” - was founded in 2014 to design and produce original, high-end furniture and seating through a curated European network of fine craftsmen. Winner of the 2019 FGI Rising Star award for best new furniture design in America, Atelier d’Amis’ collections are a perfect balance of contemporary design, timeless elegance, stealth fabrication solutions, and high product customization.
Partners Philippe Boccara and Sébastien Léon Agneessens - both French and based in the US - combined their respective expertise to create a company with a true international dimension. Philippe has specialized in the value chain of the furniture industry for over two decades, while Sébastien has acted as creative director for European luxury brands and a designer in his own right. Atelier d’Amis’ collections are hand-made in Italy, France, or Portugal, with exceptional attention to quality and detail. Every piece is delivered with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its provenance.
